According to the just released 2012 Advanced Survey of Manufacturing by the US Census, Manufacturing Sector had the highest payroll per employee of the top five economic sector categories.

Manufacturing had the highest payroll per employee of the top five economic sector categories- $52,686.

This agrees with our industry data collected here at PMPA.
